Stuck for a Buck

Have a stray dollar? Feel like doing some good with it? The students at Francis Marion Intermediate School in Marion have the solution.
Students have been raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through a Pennies For Patients fund-drive since Feb. 1. The goal is to raise $1,000 by Friday.
The fund-drive is going into its final push on Friday with a "Stuck for a Buck" promotion. By donating a dollar, students get an opportunity to tape music teacher, Amanda Freese, to the lunchroom wall. For every dollar donated, a piece of duct tape will be used to affix the teacher to the wall.
As of today, the unofficial total collected was slightly over $900.
