Storm damage temporarily closes Waterloo water park
WATERLOO - Monday's bad weather closed the Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo.
Trees fell over and debris from plants fell into the water. Eric Bertch, general manager of the water park, said cosmetic repairs need to be done before the pool is open for guests again.
'Pool chemistry we need to reset and some backwashing stuff to get all of the debris that's in there out and balanced safe for guests to swim in again,” Bertch said.
The water park is planning to reopen Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
