Six youths, one man charged in Dubuque crime series

DUBUQUE - Police have arrested six juveniles and one adult in a string of crimes in eastern and northeast Dubuque from May 6 through Sept. 26.
Dubuque police said in a news release that the incidents included nine robberies, six assaults and a theft.
Police said the juveniles face criminal charges in adult court that include first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery and aiding and abetting assault without injury.
The adult, Deandre T. Austin, 19, of Dubuque, has been charged with first-degree robbery and abetting assault with injury, police said.
Officials said more charges in the incidents are forthcoming.
