Sexual abuse trial of former Iowa City school counselor begins Feb. 8

The second-degree sexual abuse trial of a former Iowa City school counselor will start Feb. 8 in Johnson County District Court.

Attorneys had no remaining motions or issues at today's final pretrial hearing for Donald L. Clark, 41. The trial is expected to last three days.

Clark is accused of sexually abusing a fifth grade student at Lemme Elementary School in 2004, while Clark was a school guidance counselor.
