Sex abuse trial for Marion man reset to March

The sexual abuse trial for a Marion man accused of assaulting a woman in 2009 has been reset to March 19, in Linn County District Court.
James Olds, 43, is charged with third-degree sexual abuse. He is accused of assaulting the woman Aug. 19, 2009 at his residence in Marion, according to a criminal complaint.
Olds also is charged in a separate case for sexually abusing and repeatedly exploiting a girl between the time she was 3-1/2 and 6 years old, according to a criminal complaint. He is charged with second-degree sexual abuse, sexual exploitation of a minor, lascivious acts with a child, lascivious conduct with a minor, indecent contact with a child, indecent exposure and false imprisonment.
His trial in the second case is set Jan. 30.
