Semi rear ends car on Highway 100
A Coralville woman was taken to Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids for non-life threatening injuries after her car was hit from behind by a semi tractor trailer.
Bridget Jermeland, 29, was driving south on Highway 13 just north of Highway 100 when a semi truck driven by Jason Wilkerson, 36, of Tiffin, rear ended her.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident, and Linn County Sheriff's deputies say Wilkerson will be charged with following too close.
