IOWA CITY – The city's annual recycling event open to everyone, but aimed at people moving out of apartments, starts next week.
Rummage in the Ramp takes items that are donated and sells them at low prices. It is timed for the period when many apartment leases end.
The event will begin July 27 and end Aug. 4 and will be held on the ground floor of the Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp, on Washington Street across from City Hall.
Pick-up service will be available for a $10 fee for Iowa City and Coralville residents who want to donate items but have no way to transport them.
