RoughRiders trade 3rd-year winger Marsh to Sioux Falls

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders announced Thursday they have traded forward Alec Marsh to the Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for forward Joey Marooney and a future draft pick.
This was the third season in Cedar Rapids for Marsh, who had four goals and three assists in 16 games. The New Jersey resident has played in 114 USHL games, scoring 24 goals and adding 28 assists.
The 19-year-old is a Penn State college commitment.
Marooney, 18, had four goals and two assists in 18 games this season for Sioux Falls. The Chaska, Minn., resident is an Alabama-Huntsville commit.
The RoughRiders host Bloomington on Saturday night at 7:05.
