RoughRiders name trio captains
CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have named Mitch Reinke, Cal Burke and Ross Colton tri-captains of the team, according to Riders Coach Mark Carlson.
All are second-year players. They will rotate the captaincy in five-game increments.
Colton, 19, has a team-high 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 10 games this season. The New Jersey resident has committed to the University of Vermont.
Reinke, 19, has four assists in 10 games. The Stillwater, Minn., resident has committed to Michigan Tech.
Burke, 18, is a suburban Boston resident who has a goal and seven assists in 10 games. He has committed to Notre Dame.
The RoughRiders play Friday night at Bloomington and host Tri-City on Saturday night.
