RoughRiders’ Colton named MVP at USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

OMAHA, Neb. - Forward Ross Colton of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders was named Most Valuable Player for his East team at Tuesday night's USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
Colton had the event's first-ever hat trick and added two assists to help his team win the game, 6-2. He went a plus-5 in the game.
Matt Filipe and Sam Sterschein of the RoughRiders had an assist each for the East. Teammate Matt Gosiewski also played.
Colton leads the RoughRiders with 18 goals in 27 games this season. The University of Vermont commit from New Jersey also has 15 assists and a plus-minus rating of plus-18.
