RoughRiders 5th in latest USHL power rankings

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are fifth in the latest United States Hockey League power rankings, released Wednesday by USA Hockey Magazine.
The rankings are compiled via vote of reporters and observers of the league, including The Gazette's Jeff Johnson.
The Lincoln Stars remain No. 1 in the latest poll. They are 14-6, their 28 standings points placing them in a tie for first in the Western Conference.
Green Bay moved from 14th to second. The Gamblers are tied with the RoughRiders for first place in the Eastern Conference.
Omaha and Dubuque come in third and fourth in the power rankings. Following Cedar Rapids are Sioux Falls, Waterloo and Youngstown. Bloomington and Sioux City round out the top 10.
In order, the remainder of the power rankings are Chicago, Tri-City, Team USA, Muskegon, Des Moines, Fargo and Madison.
