Even when he's in jail, Jeremy Dyson has gotten in more trouble.
Held in the armed robbery of a Cedar Rapids liquor store last month and an apartment burglary Tuesday, Dyson, 18, of Cedar Rapids, was charged this morning with threatening a witness to the burglary.
The complaint charging Dyson with tampering with a witness says he called the witness, described as a 17-year-old female, and threatened to "beat her ass" when he was released. The call was made Wednesday from jail, according to the complaint.
Dyson remains in the Linn County Jail. The new charge increased his bail, previously $41,000, by another $6,500 cash.
