Rescue boat on Cedar River today to recover capsized boat

The Cedar Rapids Fire Department is on the Cedar River today to recover a capsized boat that tipped over this past weekend.

Fire department spokesman Greg Buelow said the boater was assisted by another and no one was injured in the weekend incident.

The recovery is happening near the Edgewood Road bridge.
