Just in time for holiday travelers -- another winter storm is moving into the Midwest, with the potential to bring four inches of snow or more to Eastern Iowa.
A winter weather advisory takes effect later today and will remain in effect until 6 p.m. Friday for virtually all of Eastern Iowa. Widespread accumulations of 2 to 5 inches of snow are possible, with isolated higher totals, KCRG-TV9 First Alert Storm Team meteorologist Kaj O'Mara said.
We'll still see a quiet weekend, but it will be cooler, with highs generally into the teens.
