RECALL: Frontier Natural Products Co-op of Norway recalling some seasoning products

The following products are being recalled because they could be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children and others with weakened immune systems.

Mrs. Gerry's Kitchen Inc. of Albert Lea, Minn., is recalling select containers of crab Creole spread. No illness has been reported. The spread was sold in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Missouri. Details: by phone at 800-642-9662.

Frontier Natural Products Co-op of Norway, Iowa, is recalling seasoning products made using non-organic black pepper that were sold under the Frontier and Whole Foods Market brands.
