CEDAR RAPIDS - Raining Rose, manufacturer of lip balm and other body care products, bought Solar Advertising Inc., a promotional lip balm supplier in Fort Collins, Colo.
Solar Advertising's lip balm products, which include Natural LipFusion and Natural SugarBalm, will be included in Raining Rose's current product line. All its employees will be retained, the Cedar Rapids company said in a statement.
'We're very excited to be working with this company, and we look forward to showing Solar Advertising clients what Raining Rose has to offer in both an expanded product line and an expanded service staff,” Raining Rose CEO Chuck Hammond said in the statement.
'Our complementary goals and values made for an easy decision when looking at the future of Solar Advertising. While much of our customer experience will remain the same, I am excited about the added benefits and services this acquisition will bring,” added Lindsey Whitney, president of Solar Advertising.
Raining Rose's corporate office will remain in Cedar Rapids, with former Solar Advertising employees working from the Fort Collins sales office.
Raining Rose has 330 employees. Solar Advertising has two full-time employees along with a fluctuating number of contract workers, Katie Beitz, Raising Rose marketing director said.
