RAGBRAI 2019 stops officially revealed

The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa ride director T.J. Juskiewicz teased an impending announcement about the 2019 RAGBRAI stops on Friday, and now they've been officially revealed at the Route Announcement Party at the Iowa Events Center. The official route is 427 miles liong, 14730 feet of climb, it's the 6th shortest in history, 8th flattest in history, and 8th easiest in history.
Day 1: Council Bluffs to Atlantic - 58 miles, 2,592 feet of climb.
Day 2: Atlantic to Winterset - 68 miles, 2,044 feet of climb.
Day 3: Winterset to Indianola - 39 miles, 1,443 feet of climb.
Day 4: Indianola to Centerville - 78 miles, 2,977 feet of climb.
Day 5: Centerville to Fairfield - 65 miles, 2,327 feet of climb.
Day 6: Fairfield to Burlington - 57 miles, 1,626 feet of climb.
Day 7: Burlington to Keokuk - 62 miles 1,725 feet of climb.
'Great route,' said Josh Schamberger, a RAGBRAI fan and president of Think Iowa City, which has helped bring RAGBRAI to Johnson County several times. He attended the announcement event.
'The double river finish is a pretty cool new twist. I think that will be the part I'm most looking forward to – a long ride along the Mississippi.'
