Area residents are invited to a public meeting tonight regarding road work in preparation of North Liberty's future interchange with Interstate 380.
The Iowa Department of Transportation will host an open house meeting from 5 - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the North Liberty Recreation Center, 520 W. Cherry St. City and state officials will be available to meet with residents about plans to improve right of way needs on West Forevergreen Road from Kansas Avenue to Covered Bridge Boulevard.
The improvements come around the same time as the eventual addition of an interchange of Forevergreen Road with I-380, which could begin in 2018.
