Post pierces man's car after crash into fence
A man walked away from a crazy crash that sent a fence post through the roof of his car early this morning.
The crash happened on the exit ramp from Interstate 380 North onto Blairs Ferry Road just before 1:30 a.m. today.
The white Chevrolet Impala has a huge hole in the windshield and a pole still piercing the roof. The fence post entered and exited the cabin just behind the driver's head.
Police haven't released the name of the driver, but did say the incident is being investigated only as an accident. The driver wasn't injured, and at this point, no charges are pending.
