Police: Vinton woman offered sex for cab ride, beer
Police arrested a Vinton woman late Tuesday evening after they said she offered a cab driver sex in exchange for a cab ride, cigarettes and beer.
Rachel L. Jensen, 36, is charged with prostitution after she allegedly solicited the cab driver around 11:15 p.m. outside of Best Western Cooper's Mill Hotel, 100 F Ave. NW. The cab driver called police.
According to the police report, Jensen was intoxicated when she made the offer, and was also cited for public intoxication. Jensen was taken to the Linn County Jail.
Online court records indicate Jensen was previously convicted of prostitution after an incident in 2006 in Black Hawk County.
