Police still seeking clues in Iowa State student's disappearance
Mar. 4, 2010 2:15 pm
Ames police hope warmer temperatures and melting snow might turn up some clues in the case of a missing Iowa State University student.
Jon Lacina disappeared on Jan. 27. The 21-year-old senior was last seen leaving an apartment building about two blocks from his dormitory. His father reported him missing the next day.
Police say Lacina or his belongings may be buried in a snowbank near campus.
Police Cmdr. Mike Brennan says warmer weather this weekend will melt some snow and may provide some answers.
