Police seek suspect in Iowa City robbery

Iowa City police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a man on a walk Thursday morning.
The victim told police he was walking near Myrtle Avenue and Greenwood Drive at 5:30 a.m. when someone hit him repeatedly in the face and then took his MP3 player. The victim had superficial injuries to his face and a chipped tooth, police said.
The suspect fled down Greenwood Drive. He is described as a white male with a dark complexion and a tattoo on the lower half of one of his legs. He was wearing shorts and a white Echo brand hooded sweat shirt with gold skulls, police said.
