Police say North Liberty man threw pizza box at officers

A North Liberty man was arrested Thursday night after allegedly throwing a pizza box at a police officer.
Michael J. Koski, 40, faces charges of assault on peace officers, public intoxication and interference with official acts after the incident just before 11 p.m. at the Kum & Go on Kansas Avenue in North Liberty.
Koski, of 2320 Rice Ridge Lane, is accused of throwing his pizza box and glasses at an officer. He then ran, was Tased, and, while handcuffed and on the ground, tried to bite an officer's knee, according to a criminal complaint.
