Police say C.R. man cut, robbed acquaintance
Police arrested a man Tuesday morning after he allegedly cut and robbed an acquaintance.
Chad Willman, 34, of Cedar Rapids, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery after he allegedly cut another person with a box cutter and stole a laptop. Sgt. Joe Clark said the incident took place around 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Center Point Road NE, but it wasn't reported until 4:15 a.m.
Clark said the victim, whose name has not been released, suffered a small cut to the neck but did not need medical treatment.
No other information was immediately available.
