Police make arrest in Iowa City hit-and-run case

An Iowa City woman has turned herself in to police and admitted she was the driver of a car that struck a bicyclist last week.
Samantha-Jo Kindon, 18, is charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident, a serious misdemeanor.
Last Wednesday, Iowa City police requested the public's help in locating the driver of a silver car that struck a bicyclist Tuesday at the intersection of Johnson and Jefferson streets. The bicyclist suffered a shoulder injury in the crash.
Last Thursday, Kindon told police she was the driver of the car. She said her conscience led her to come to the police station and ask about the bicyclist's condition.
