Four people went to jail on drug charges Sunday, while the two men who reportedly robbed them remained on the run.
Police were called shortly before 3 p.m. to 1404 First St. SW when two men with guns forced their way inside the house. According to the police report, the men demanded money and one of them used his gun to strike Andrew Nederhoff, 29, in the face. The people who were inside told police the two men only took a cell phone before running away.
Once inside the house, officers discovered 547 grams, or about 1.2 pounds, of marijuana, along with drug pipes, scales, packaging materials, according to a criminal complaint. They also found illegally obtained prescription drugs and methamphetamine.
Lawrence Wulff, 27, who lives at the house, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug tax stamp violation.
Nederhoff, who also lives at the house, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. He refused medical attention after being hit with the gun, police said.
Misty Hearn, 28, who also lives at the house, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug tax stamp violation.
A fourth person, 24-year-old Danielle Wulff, also was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Formal charges against her were still pending Monday, according to the Linn County Attorney's office.
The two suspects in the robbery remained at-large on Monday. They were described to police as two black males in their 20s, both with slim builds, wearing dark winter jackets and baseball hats.
An investigation was continuing.
