Police identify man found dead in Iowa City

Iowa City police said today that Mark Benjamin Brown, 49, was the man who died after being found under the Highway 6 bridge in Iowa City Monday morning.
Brown, who was homeless and was last known to stay in Iowa City, was found bleeding and unresponsive on the bike trail underneath the bridge by a passerby.
Brown had not been riding a bicycle, police said.
The death is not considered suspicious, police said.
