NEW DOUGLAS, Ill. - One person is dead after a small plane crashed in southern Illinois after taking off from Iowa.The Federal Aviation Administration says the single-engine aircraft crashed near New Douglas around 3:15 p.m. on Friday.FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory says there was only one person on board.According to preliminary information, Cory says the plane was en route to Louisville, Kentucky
