Pilot killed in ultralight plane crash near Manchester

UPDATE: The pilot in the crash of an ultralight plane near Manchester has died.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office identified the man as a 45-year-old from Masonville, but did not release the man's name.

Investigators said the ultralight plane crashed just before 8 p.m. Monday, west of the Manchester Airport.

The pilot was taken to a Manchester hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remained under investigation.
