PHOTOS: Fire heavily damages Fayette County home
Fire engulfed a Fayette County home near Maynard today.
The fire was reported just before 11 a.m. at 7862 M Avenue, about three-quarters of a mile east of Maynard. Shawn Chensvold, who lives at the home, told firefighters his wife has a small taxidermy shop at the rear of the home.
Chesnvold, a hunter, said he also had "a few rounds" of ammunition stored at the home, as well as about 40 pounds of gunpowder, but no explosions were reported.
No injuries were reported, but the home sustained heavy damage.
