The Cedar Rapids Fire and Parks & Recreation Departments conducted a controlled burn Tuesday morning at Beverly Park, off King Drive SW.
The controlled burn was part of site preparation activities for the 1,000 Acre Pollinator Initiative's 2017 prairie installation.
