Pedestrian hit by truck in Manchester

Iowa City-Staff members at Manchester's hospital say Morris has been transferred to the University of Iowa's Hospitals and Clinics.
MANCHESTER – Authorities said a pedestrian was struck by a pickup as it was turning a corner in Manchester on Thursday.
Richard A. Morris, 66, of Manchester, was hit around 8:30 p.m. by a pickup driven by Kenneth D. Mysak, 49, of Manchester, according to the Iowa State Patrol. Mysak was turning north onto North Brewer Street from East Main Street.
The trooper who investigated said Morris was in the crosswalk when he was hit.
Morris was taken by ambulance to Regional Medical Center in Manchester. A hospital spokeswoman there said no information was being released about his condition.
