Physicians' Clinic of Iowa has chosen BBL of Albany, N.Y., to design its medical facility and manage construction of the $44 million project to be built along 10th Street SE.
The City Council is considering PCI's request to close Second Avenue SE between 10th and 12th streets for the 200,000-square-foot building.
PCI envisions a two-story ambulatory care facility to consolidate its five medical office buildings into a single “medical mall.” The building would house PCI clinics and specialty centers, diagnostic laboratory, imaging center, diagnostic testing services, pharmacy, education center and health care screening, as well as health care-related tenants and a cafe.
