Part of the historic 1907 Winery building on Main St. has collapsed Friday evening in downtown West Branch.
A crew member on the scene said that over the course of the day the building's foundation has become structurally unsound, causing it to cave in.
Community members heard creaking noises at the building, which was previously a post office and service station. The building has been undergoing reconstruction.
This is a developing story, check back for updates.
