Paramedics spot storage shed fire in Iowa City
The Iowa City Fire Department was called to a storage shed fire at 401 Kirkwood Avenue in Iowa City around 6:00p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
The fire was first reported by paramedics from the Johnson County Ambulance Service who happened to be driving by and saw the flames.
When the fire department arrived the building was fully engulfed. It was put out within 15 minutes of the department's arrival.
The Iowa City Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
