An Ottumwa man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after a pair of stabbings at a motel.
Ottumwa police say they responded to a reported disturbance early Sunday and found two men with stab wounds.
Twenty-one-year-old Christian Deeter of Ottumwa was treated for a stab wound to the face and released from a local hospital. Alexander Collins, also 21, was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and was treated for multiple stab wounds.
Police arrested 45-year-old Darryl Johnson following an initial investigation.
