One person killed in crash near Shellsburg
One person is dead following a single-vehicle accident in Benton County. The Benton County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened at about 2:15 Sunday morning along 32nd Ave near 61st Street, about three miles north of Shellsburg.
Authorities say a southbound vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch embankment, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene
Officials are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.
