One killed, two injured in Cedar Rapids crash

CEDAR RAPIDS - One has died and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night.
Authorities were called to Highway 151, near Beverly Road SW, at 11:15 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle collision, according to a report from the Iowa State Patrol.
According to the report, a Nissan Pathfinder driven by Arona Devore, 58, of Marion, was heading southbound on Highway 151 when it crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle in a head-on collision.
The other vehicle, a Honda Odyssey, was driven by Lahoma Bearbower, 51, of Cedar Rapids. According to the report, Bearbower was transported to UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Devore suffered injuries in the crash and was transported to Mercy Medical Center, according to the report.
An unnamed 11-year-old individual also was transported to Mercy for treatment of injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
