One killed, two hurt in Washington County crash

OLDS - One person was killed and two others were injured after being ejected from a vehicle in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Washington County early this morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the driver Justin E. Boney, 23, of Washington, Ia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers says the vehicle rolled several times into the ditch around 1:30 a.m.
Passengers Tyler J. Orr, 23, of Mediapolis and Tara A. Hobbs, 20, of Morning Sun, were both injured and transported to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City for treatment.
The crash, which occurred in the northbound lane of James Avenue in Washington County north of the town of Olds, remains under investigation.
