One hurt when pickup flips three times in Cedar Rapids
One person was taken to a hospital following a rollover crash Tuesday morning in northeast Cedar Rapids, police said.
Witnesses told police a pickup flipped three times when it collided with a car around 6:30 a.m. on Rockwell Drive near Park Place NE. Police at the scene said the driver appeared OK, but had some pain and was taken to a local hospital by ambulance as a precaution.
Police said the car was on Park Place NE and made a complete stop at the stop sign, but did not see the southbound pickup and pulled out in front of it. The car driver was not hurt.
Names of the drivers were not immediately released.
