One hurt in two-vehicle crash near Fayette
One driver was hurt when a pickup and a Jeep collided northeast of Fayette Monday afternoon.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Dalton L. Howard, 16, of Wadena was southbound on Echo Road, just south of Fillmore Road, at 12:28 p.m. Monday when his pickup and a northbound Jeep Wrangler driven by Bryce A. Beerman, 59, of West Union, collided at the top of a hill.
Both vehicles went into the ditch, and Howard's pickup rolled onto its top. Howard was taken to Palmer Hospital in West Union by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash, the sheriff's office said.
The crash remains under investigation.
