TULSA, Okla. — A plane bound for Cedar Rapids from Dallas/Fort Worth was diverted Monday evening.
A statement from American Airlines says the crew reported an odor in the cabin of flight number 3235, which took off at 5:05 p.m.
The plane, a CRJ-700, was carrying 63 passengers and 4 crew members when it landed safely in Tulsa at 6:12 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The passengers deplaned and were transported to the terminal where they were met by an airline representative, according to spokesperson Victoria Lupica.
She said the passengers will spend the night in Tulsa. American will fly a plane from Dallas to pick them up in the morning and transport them to Cedar Rapids.
Gibril Mansaray, who was a passenger on the flight, says it is scheduled to depart Tulsa at 9:30 Tuesday morning.
