Occupants safe after Iowa City mobile home fire
Fire crews are on the scene of a fire at 513 Mineral Point Ln., in the Lake Ridge Mobile Home Park in Iowa City.
The fire was reported just after 9 a.m. Thursday. Everyone made it out of the home safely. Firefighters also rescued the family's dog.
Fire heavily damaged the home, according to reports from the scene. At least five fire departments in Johnson County responded, including crews from Iowa City and Coralville.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
