North Liberty police investigating burglary, asking for help

NORTH LIBERTY -Police are investigating a pharmacy burglary and are asking for the public's help.
According to a news release from the North Liberty Police Department, officers responded to an alarm at the Care Pro Pharmacy, 555 W Cherry St., at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, where they discovered a drive-thru window along the west side of the building had been smashed, police Chief Jim Warkentin said.
Police said it was determined that a burglary occurred, however, authorities are still unsure of exactly what was taken, Warkentin added.
Pharmacy staff declined to comment Thursday.
North Liberty police Investigator Ryan Rockafellow said there is no surveillance video available, nor any to be released to the public at this time.
