BERTRAM - A North Liberty man suffered non-life threatening injuries in a rollover crash Sunday afternoon near Bertram.
According to a news release from the Linn County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred at 1:21 p.m. Sunday when a car driven by Steven W. Reynolds, 31, of North Liberty lost control of his car when he was entering the westbound ramp for Highway 30 from southbound Highway 13, just south of Bertram.
First responders from the Linn County Sheriff's Office, Mount Vernon police and fire departments, and the Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance Service found that Reynolds' vehicle had left the roadway and apparently rolled several times, coming to rest on its top. Reynolds was able to extricate himself from the car and was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, officials said.
Reynolds was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids for treatment of what were described as non-life threatening injuries. He was also cited for failing to maintain control, officials said.
