New Iowa City elementary school has Web site

The newest Iowa City school district elementary school -- Garner Elementary in North Liberty -- has its own Web site.
Future Garner parents received notice of the Web site over the weekend. While the site is in its infancy, families are encouraged to check the site regularly for construction updates, meeting notices and other information.
Students from both Penn and Van Allen elementary schools will attend Garner for the 2009-10 school year. District officials estimate the school's enrollment numbers will be about 350 students.
