New cancer center to be dedicated Thursday in Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS – Mercy Medical Center's new Hall-Perrine Cancer Center will formally open its doors Thursday during a grand opening celebration and dedication.
The public is invited to the event from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at 701 10th St. SE.
A brief dedication ceremony at 5 p.m. will include the simultaneous ringing of church bells throughout the community in recognition of Mercy's tradition of ringing a bell to mark the completion of a patient's cancer treatment.
