Murder trial reset for Ryan woman accused of killing husband

MANCHESTER - The murder trial of a 42-year-old Ryan woman accused of killing her husband has been reset to Dec. 7 in Delaware County District Court.
Revette Sauser, charged with first-degree murder, is accused of shooting and killing her husband, Terry Sauser, 59, a Ryan businessman and volunteer firefighter, on April 3.
Last week, Sauser filed her intent to claim diminished responsibility and/or insanity and self-defense as her defense.
According to police, Terry Sauser was found unconscious but alive in the living room of his home in the 400 block of South Street. He died on the way to a hospital.
Revette Sauser fired one shot from a .380 handgun into her husband's chest, according to a criminal complaint.
