Mount Trashmore 5K in Cedar Rapids needs name, T-shirt design
CEDAR RAPIDS - A first-of-its-kind, 5K run that features a 208-foot climb up Mount Trashmore needs your help to name the Sept. 13 race and design its T-shirt.
The race is sponsored by the Epilepsy Foundation of North/Central Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska, and the race's T-shirt design should refer to the Epilepsy Foundation and the Cedar Rapids/Linn County Solid Waste Agency.
The name for the race has to be creative, witty and classy.
Entries for the race name and T-shirt design should be made by 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 at Namethisrace@aol.com
The winners of the naming and design contests will receive $150 each.
