Motorcycle crash injures Cedar Rapids man

CEDAR RAPIDS – One person was hurt when a motorcycle wrecked early Monday morning, authorities said.
Jason C. Hines, 22, of Cedar Rapids, was hurt when he lost control of his westbound motorcycle around midnight on Old River Road near Anderle Road, according to the Linn County sheriff's office. Deputies said Hines and the bike tumbled before coming to rest on the roadway.
Authorities learned about the accident while they were investigating another accident. Hines had already been taken to St. Luke's Hospital by private vehicle. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, authorities said.
Investigators were still trying to determine what caused the accident.
